Zenaq Tobizo
The "Zenaq Tobizo" is an offshore casting rod of exceptional quality and distance. The Tobizo series offers top performance in all areas: distance, power, and action. It is the result of the expertise that Zenaq has developed over the last 20 years, since the introduction of the first innovative offshore casting rod in 1997. Muscular carbon blank: The limited lifting power of rods of the past was a necessary sacrifice to make them suitable for casting. However, the Tobizo rod series has finally overcome the problems associated with the compromise between casting performance, lifting power, strength, and elasticity. Toray's innovative T1100G material, combined with Nanoalloy® resin, results in a superiorly strong yet sensitive carbon blank. These design factors contribute to the Tobizo's exceptional strength without compromising its long-distance casting ability—in fact, they enhance it. Surprising casting distance: We all want to be able to cast farther, and for good reason. A longer cast allows you to reach fish that were previously out of reach, reducing the likelihood of spooking them with the boat. A longer cast lets you cover more water, ultimately giving you a better chance of hooking a fish. In fact, it can mean the difference between going home empty-handed or landing a record fish. The Tobizo's unprecedentedly efficient, ultralight, optimized Toray carbon blank allows you to cast with 80% less effort. True lifting power: By using a blank that absorbs the weight of a fighting fish, the angler has the advantage of comfortably transferring the fight to the fish during otherwise grueling, protracted battles. The Tobizo series allows anglers to work with high drag pressures. The extremely strong, elastic T1100G carbon used in the blank converts this pressure into lifting power for the angler. No other offshore casting rod of its weight can boast the same lifting power as the Tobizo, which is in a class of its own. Rod details: TC83-150G The TC83-150G has been finely tuned to be the perfect crossover rod for GT popping and tuna stickbaiting. GT rods have traditionally had an extremely stiff tip for fishing with large poppers, while tuna rods have a more moderate action suited for maximum distance casting and stickbait fishing. ZENAQ's twenty years of experience building boat casting rods has taught them to optimize the sweet spot between power and casting ability. The fact that it's not as heavy as larger GT rods means you can still target those fish without experiencing the fatigue that comes with those rods. The TC83-150G casts best with lures in the 150g range. TC80-200G The TC80-200G is the most powerful model in the entire Tobizo range. This rod is used by anglers targeting giant tuna and record-breaking GTs. The belly section of the rod is perfect for casting 200g lures, while the butt section has the power to rip fish out of the reef. The seamless transition of these blank characteristics makes this rod a highly effective and versatile tool for big fish. The ultra-strong blank of the TC80-200G is a top-of-the-line weapon for experienced anglers and is so well-balanced that any angler can handle it with confidence.TC77 Tuna - Monster Buster
