Shimano '21 Scorpion DC

The Shimano Scorpion DC '21 is a robust baitcasting reel with a digital braking system and comes with three gear ratios. The housing is made of an aluminum alloy and is particularly resistant to harsh conditions. With its three different gear ratios, this reel is ideal for medium-weight pike fishing. It offers a maximum drag of 5.5 kg with a weight of 215 g. The handle length is 84mm for the 151 & 151HG and has been extended to 90mm for the 151XG. It is perfectly suitable for lures up to the DEPS SlideSwimmer 145 and is ideal for MH rods. The aluminum spool with the i-DC5 braking system allows for extremely relaxed casting distances and offers sufficient line capacity for FC enthusiasts. Inside the reel, you can select the line type for the DC braking system: F: Fluorocarbon; N: Nylon; P: Braided lines. The adjustment dial on the outer side plate sets the braking force from 1 to 4. The additional "W" setting is suitable for particularly windy days and provides the strongest braking. We recommend the Seaguar R18 LTD , the test winner among FC lines from Japan, as a suitable line.
