Daiwa Alphas Air TW

The Daiwa Alphas Air TW is a high-end reel from Japan and comes with two gear ratios. The housing is made of an aluminum alloy and the coil diameter of the air spool is 28mm. With a gear ratio of 8.6:1 or 7.1:1 and a resulting line retrieve of 75cm/crank revolution or 62cm/crank revolution, the reel is ideally suited for ultralight perch fishing. It offers a maximum drag of 3.5kg with a weight of 160g. The 28mm diameter spool allows for extremely relaxed casting distances. The TW system also increases casting distances by up to 5% when using thicker fluorocarbon lines. This is the RH model, with the crank on the right side. As a suitable line, we recommend the test winner of braided lines from Japan , Seaguar R18 Seabass x8 .
