Daiwa J-Braid Expedition x8

J-Braid has just gotten even better with the introduction of the “Daiwa J Braid Expedition X8”. It features the same IZANAS fiber construction that has made J-Braid so popular, but now with Daiwa’s silicone “Coating PE” technology to create a smoother, more supple braid with hydrophobic properties that increases durability and improves feel. The silicone coating of the “Expedition X8E” means that the braid does not absorb water, which is important because the braid also does not absorb the mud and deposits present in the water, which are the main cause of wear and tear on braided lines over time. With its incredibly high weave density, this cord is braided more tightly than almost any other cord on the market and offers an incredibly round profile weave that does not unravel or fray during use.
