The "OSP HP Minnow 5" is a new size of the popular HP Minnow, retaining the fundamental characteristics of an I-shaped worm while improving fishing performance and versatility. A newly developed technique, the "Escape Action," appeals to the predatory instincts of bass and can be used successfully even under challenging conditions. Two aspects are crucial for optimal performance: the lure's enticing nature and the execution of the escape action without arousing the bass's suspicion. The HP Minnow 5" has been developed through targeted design and material adjustments to meet these requirements. When using a jig head, excessive rolling motion was avoided due to the 5-inch volume. Instead, a perfect rolling action combined with an appealing tail action ensures that bass are attracted and strike. In the no-sinker range, the lure remains stable near the surface. If you want to fish in deeper waters, a swivel Carolina rig can be used to simulate the no-sinker action in the desired range. The HP Minnow 5" also offers versatility for various rigging methods such as jig head, no-sinker, nail rig, swivel Carolina rig and free rig.
