Daiwa Silver Creek Air TW Stream Custom

The Daiwa Silver Creek Air TW Stream Custom is a high-end finesse reel from Japan and features a geared transmission. It is based on the Alphas Air TW. The housing is made of an aluminum alloy and the coil diameter of the G1 Air Spool is 28mm. The reel was explicitly designed for fishing for trout in streams and, thanks to the permanently installed inductor in the spool, is designed for tangle-free casts at short distances. The optimal casting weight for this reel starts at approximately 3g. With a gear ratio of 8.5:1 and a resulting line retrieve of 74cm per crank revolution, this reel is ideal for ultralight trout fishing. It offers a maximum drag of 3.5kg, weighs only 170g, and features a built-in drag clicker. The 28mm diameter spool allows for extremely relaxed casting distances. The TW system also increases casting distances by up to 5% when using thicker fluorocarbon lines.
