Try-Angle TC-01L

2024 marks the 10th year since TRY-ANGLE launched its collaboration with Isuzu Kogyo. The culmination of this partnership is the release of a vintage baitcasting reel. The TC-01 is based on the Isuzu Kogyo BC44 series and comes standard with a range of unique features, such as the 7.1:1 super high-speed gear ratio, the double-bearing offset handle, and the special, robust, and lightweight spool. This reel incorporates the latest technology while retaining the body size and appearance that are unique to small, classic reels.
Based on the small BC series, this reel achieves a maximum gear ratio of 7.1:1. With a winding speed of approximately 70cm per crank revolution, it is versatile in its applications.
The handle is equipped with a custom-designed knob featuring two integrated bearings, making cranking significantly smoother. Furthermore, because it's secured with a screw instead of the traditional rivet, maintenance is possible.
The TC-01 comes with a robust, lightweight coil and a magnetic braking system, so you can cast under 2g from day one without any tuning.
Also included is a standard spool (centrifugal brake) used in the Isuzu BC series. Choose the spool that best suits your equipment and situation, for example, when casting heavy lures or when fishing where you need more line capacity.
It is equipped with a drag clicker that alerts you to the line being pulled out during a drag fight with a clicking sound, as well as a star drag clicker that prevents unexpected release of the brake.
