With the "Daiwa '22 Caldia SW", DAIWA offers an extra strong and durable sea reel for fishing for cod, halibut, saithe and pollack, as well as for medium-heavy fishing for amberjack, mahi mahi, etc. The aluminum MQ body allows for a significantly larger gear ratio, resulting in enormous pulling power and durability. The special, larger teeth on the Tough Digigear drive gear improve power transmission and significantly increase smoothness and lifespan. The Magsealed construction on the axle prevents saltwater and particles from penetrating through the main shaft, reducing the risk of internal corrosion. The ATD drag system, in conjunction with the carbon fiber drag washers, ensures optimal line release under load, high drag power, and a long service life. Features an extra-strong aluminum handle and an extra-large T-shaped handle knob.
