Now with a durable coating for long-lasting protection against saltwater damage and stickiness. It also reduces color fading and prevents line fraying. The Smooth-Tech coating has been improved and modified for application on PE cords. In combination with a resin coating, color loss was reduced and the line is protected from wind knots and tangles caused by the rod guide. The casting performance has also been improved. The release is now much smoother and the casting distance increases because the friction between the rod and line is reduced.
