The Sunline Siglon Wire Leader 1x7 is a steel leader made of 7 individual strands. It is perfect for building leaders and stinger hooks for fishing for perch, zander, and pike. The Siglon Wire is made exclusively from the highest quality, rust-free stainless steel. The material is sourced from Japan, and the production of these steel leaders also takes place entirely in Japan, adhering to the highest quality standards. The individual fibers are precisely interwoven, resulting in a smooth line surface. The steel leader is smooth and even, ensuring a consistently high breaking strength along its entire length. 1x7 steel leaders are slightly stiffer than 7x7 versions. They are therefore particularly well-suited for fishing with jerkbaits and crankbaits, as well as for making stinger rigs. Since 1x7 steel is also more robust than 7x7 steel, it is ideal for all fishing methods where high abrasion resistance is required. These include, for example, jigging and other methods on the bottom or among underwater structures. Siglon Wire steel leaders are matte black, so that they are as inconspicuous as possible and do not reflect light underwater.
