The sleek silhouette and understated appeal of the "OSP High Cut SR" are its strengths. It can be used virtually anywhere, with the average casting depth of the shad being around 2 meters. OSP has strived to further increase this casting distance and has developed a shad that doesn't dig too deeply into the bottom and can be easily retrieved, even at depths of up to one meter. The body size is 63 mm and 5.8 g and is slightly larger than the normal HighCut. It can be used with both spinning and bait finesse tackle, the goal being to achieve the smallest possible size without the stress of typical bait finesse fishing. Compared to other small lures, a shad is susceptible to wind. After a comparative test with the same body, a weight distribution was chosen that offers more advantages. The "High Cut SR" may be short, but it has a steep angle. To ensure stable swimming and good responsiveness, the center of gravity was shifted slightly and the body thinned using a honeycomb super-MC design. The use of high-density tungsten spheres instead of conventional steel spheres reduced the weight by approximately 25%. The movement of the weight towards the tip of the thin tail ensures a stable flight position even in strong winds and increases the flight range. The lip shape and low center of gravity enhance the recovery force after contact.
