Ryugi Hover Shot

The “Ryugi Hover Shot” is an innovative new finesse technique that is rapidly gaining popularity in Japan. The "Ryugi Hover Shot Hook" is considered a deadly technique for catching fish in open water. It mimics a panicked baitfish when combined with a light line, a finesse swimbait, and a "strolling" retrieve on a slack line. When the pressure on the fish is high, even a lightweight jig head can drop too quickly, forcing you to fish too fast. With hover strolling, the angler can still use a jig hook with a finesse swimbait and slowly work the upper part of the water column by adjusting the action and drop with a small nail weight. A special worm holder in the center of the hook secures the main body of your finesse float. The 90-degree line binder is positioned above the nose of your float. The Ryugi Hover Shot Hooks feature a fine wire construction and a smooth Teflon coating, allowing you to set the hook with very little pressure.
