Daiwa Zillion TW HD 1000

The Daiwa Zillion TW HD 1000 comes in a classic black. The high-end reel features a 100mm aluminum handle and round EVA knobs with matching knob caps. With a gear ratio of 7.1:1 (1000HL) and a resulting line retrieve of 75cm/crank revolution, or 8.1:1 (1000XHL) and 86cm/crank revolution, this reel is ideally suited for fishing for our native predators using medium to heavy lures. It offers a maximum drag of 6kg while weighing only 200g. The body is made of an aluminum alloy. The G1 spool with the new Mag-Z Boost braking system allows for extremely relaxed casting distances and offers ample line capacity. This has been increased by 50% compared to the previous model. The TW system further increases casting distances by up to 5% when using thicker fluorocarbon lines. Furthermore, the pinion gear in the reel has double ball bearings, which, in combination with the Hyper Digigear transmission, makes a noticeable difference in the smoothness of operation.
