Daiwa T3 1016SHL

The Daiwa T3 1016SHL was the first reel to introduce the T-Wing system. Unlike current models, the T-wing on the T3 is significantly wider, but also rigidly mounted. When the clutch bar is activated, the reel cover flips upwards, thus releasing the line for casting. With a gear ratio of 7.1:1 and a resulting line retrieve of 75cm per crank revolution, this reel is ideally suited for fishing for our native predators. It offers a maximum drag of 5kg and weighs only 185g. The 60 possible brake settings allow for extremely relaxed casting distances in all situations. The TW system also increases casting distances by up to 5% when using thicker fluorocarbon lines. As a suitable line, we recommend the test winner of braided lines from Japan , Seaguar R18 Seabass x8 .
