The "OSP DoLive Shad" produces bites both when simply retrieved and when dropped. Previous shad-tail worms exhibited lively action when retrieved with a no-sinker rig, but as soon as the retrieve stopped, they ceased moving and simply sank. This meant that the moment the retrieve ceased, they lost their ability to attract fish – that was their weakness. But the DoLive Shad is different! It has an action that allows it to swim independently even in free fall, thus turning its weak point into a biting opportunity. As it wobbles its body and moves its tail while sinking, it looks like a prey fish swimming to the bottom on its own. This makes it possible to release it into the water at the edges of cover and wait for bites as it sinks, or to use the falling action to attract fish that wouldn't bite if simply retrieved. Furthermore, the tail lashes out powerfully even during a very slow retrieve, while remaining stable during a fast retrieve and producing an attractive buzzing sound. The DoLive Shad responds to a variety of presentations and is the unique shad-tail worm that allows anglers to actively engage in catching fish. The rubber is heavily salted and flavored, so that it sinks quickly to the bottom even without weight, and the fish keep the bait in their mouths longer due to the taste.
