The “Raid Japan Foot Master” was designed to create the ultimate football jig by maximizing elements such as fast and responsive falling movements, high ground detection capability and stable swimming position, while minimizing weaknesses such as frequent snagging and frequent falling apart during a jump. To increase the fall speed and improve ground detection, it is essential to reduce the size of the head, increase its weight, and enhance its hardness. Therefore, specially sintered tungsten was chosen for the head material, making this possible. The significant reduction in head size allowed for the addition of weights exceeding 14 g, which had previously been avoided due to the head's excessive size. In combination with a slightly stronger weed guard, the "Foot Master" exhibits snagless performance that reverses the previous concept of the football jig. The strong weed guard not only contributes to the snagless action but also reduces the centrifugal force generated when the football head is shaken by the predator during the fight, by reducing friction and preventing the hook from slipping out. The hooks were designed to be suitable even for small mouths and offer excellent compactness for attaching various trailers. They were sized to provide easy hooking and reliable power, capable of catching even large predators.
