Raid Japan Gladiator Anti
The "Raid Japan Gladiator Anti" series is the antithesis of the ORIGINAL GLADIATOR series. While the ORIGINAL GLADIATOR is conceived as a mission, this new series aims to fulfill the traditional function of a rod. This project arose from a desire: We (Raid Japan), who created the ORIGINAL GLADIATOR with great dedication, consciously contradict it and develop a different solution from a different perspective. A second Gladiator that contradicts the ORIGINAL GLADIATOR. GA-611MLS-ST STRIDE: The Stride is a spinning rod from the GLADIATOR Anti series designed for long-distance tactics. Featuring a specially engineered 6'11" blank and a slightly shorter 30t solid carbon tip, it delivers superior casting distance and control. Movements that were previously barely perceptible during long casts can now be felt with high sensitivity, allowing for effortless lure control. Ideal for use with light worms, metal vibrating lures, and other attractors, the rod tip provides exceptional sensitivity and control, bringing the lures to life. The guides are optimized for both PE and fluorocarbon, ensuring smooth and effortless casting. From casting and control to hooking and landing, this rod is engineered to deliver peak performance throughout the entire process. GA-64MLC BLACK VIPER: The "Black Viper" is a model designed for easy and comfortable handling of hard baits. It allows for precise casting to the desired spot, control over hard plugs, and a feel for the lure's action during retrieval – ideal for fully enjoying flatfish fishing. Specifically designed for jerkbait fishing, this rod brings classic 80-120mm jerkbaits to life. The subtle tip tension of the regular taper allows for powerful, sharp movements, while the stable blank makes it easy to control the jerking rhythm. The rod's design allows for precise control of a jerkbait's diverse actions through varying the casting force and rod action. Besides jerkbaits, this rod is also suitable for a wide range of lures such as crankbaits, vibrating lures, poppers, pencil baits, and wire baits up to a total weight of approximately 5/8 oz. This makes it versatile for use from the bank to boat fishing on small to medium-sized bodies of water. Its short length ensures easy handling and good control, making it a valuable companion even when fishing with hard baits from rental boats in shallow water. GA-65MS SPIN BORDER: The versatile spinning rod that transcends the boundaries of what's possible. At a perfect length of 6'5", it's neither too long nor too short and was designed for balanced handling during delicate rod work such as continuous twitching and shaking. The design utilizes the torque generated when bending the rod, as well as the blank's elegant, slim, and consistent taper, to ensure optimal control when surface worming with PE. It's also suitable for light plogging with minnows, shads, vibrating lures, and small topwater plugs, as well as for light power finesse techniques like light snaking. Furthermore, it's capable of finesse worming with heavier rig weights. This limitless spinning model is the modern version of a bassing spinner and offers a wide range of applications. It's a perfect match for Micro Dajji (with or without wings) as well as for light snag fishing with Egdama-type lures. It also supports Level Vibe Boost (5g/7g) and Head Swimmer Libero (5g/7g). To increase stability, it uses Fuji stainless steel SIC guides (S-type). A titanium SIC guide is used for the tip ring. To improve the connection between the braid and the leader (knot), a #5 PKTSG guide has been integrated in the top to belly section. GA-65PBF POWER BAIT FINESSE: Since RAID JAPAN was among the first to propose the Power Bait Finesse setup, they are familiar with the limitations of fishing with bait rods for light lures. If finesse fishing with bait rods is defined as the middle ground between finesse fishing with spinning rods and power fishing with bait rods, then "Power Bait Finesse" covers the small area between bait finesse and bait rod fishing. This high-performance model, which we've dubbed the "Power Bait Finesse," definitely lives up to its name. It's effective for finesse fishing techniques that primarily utilize the straight Neko worm for fast casting, employ small soft plastic lures with blind casts to trigger strikes, and work with plugs under 10g. These tactics are made possible by a 30t solid carbon tip blank, an unpolished blank, 4-axis carbon reinforcement, and an original guide setting. Through extreme component optimization, this model embodies high performance and precise control. GA-70HS-ST POWERNOSE: The Power Nose combines a sensitive solid tip with a robust, high-strength tubular blank and was designed for the ultimate power finesse action in heavy cover. It's designed for PE 1.5-2.0 (with a leader of at least 14lb fluorocarbon recommended) to guide lines along bankside trees or underwater cover, sensitively in midwater, and pull out of any cover. This rod was created as an exceptional tool, indispensable for both bank and boat fishing. Fuji stainless steel SIC guides (S-type) are used for increased stability, and a titanium SIC guide is employed for the tip ring. GA-72HC KING HEAVY: Unlike conventional heavy-power rods, which are stiff and inflexible, the King Heavy offers a unique combination of strength and flexibility for versatile power fishing with just one rod. Even with light rigs and small worms, the blank is designed to flex reliably under load, allowing for stress-free casting and handling. It is equally effective for pitching and side-casting at short distances and utilizes its 7'2" length to effortlessly handle long casts. Utilizing a new carbon material, first used in the GLADIATOR Anti series, the blank features a semi-polished finish to maximize performance. The blank strikes the perfect balance between sharpness and torque. It excels as a worming rod in cover, as well as for long-distance casting and handling heavy Carolina rigs and large worms in open water. It's also effective for heavy, moving lures and those with high water resistance. This is the ultimate versatile heavy-power rod. GA-74ML+S NAVIGATOR74: It's not just about achieving long casts, but also about controlling the lure precisely according to the angler's wishes and thus captivating the bass – that's the concept of the Navigator 74. The blank combines a sharp, yet slightly "slack" feel, making it versatile: from bottom fishing with light rigs (no-sinker, Neko, JHW, etc.), to mid-stop fishing with suspended jig heads in the water, to a wide range of small to medium-sized plugs. For example, the Level Shad can be fished finely along the shoreline, while at the same time you can use a Level Minnow to specifically target migrating bass in open water – a rod that effortlessly masters both short and long casting distances and is therefore a true all-round solution for shore fishing. The slightly "slack" nature of the tip ensures that the subtle vibrations of small plugs are picked up effectively. This gives the rod more power reserves in both the upper and lower ranges than its specifications would suggest. At 7'4", its length is among the longer models for long-range spinning rods designed for bass fishing. It offers not only long casts but also excellent control for line mending, retrieving (tracing), and range management – something you really have to experience for yourself. Whether in large rivers, reservoirs or on wide areas such as flatlands – this model enables long-shot play with improved range and usability like never before. GA-74XHC DIFFUSER: Catching monster fish often requires the use of 2oz lures, large plugs, and swimbaits. The Diffuser was primarily designed for this purpose. It's well known that large lures demand a sensitive presentation. The Diffuser offers superior casting accuracy and sensitivity, allowing the angler to visualize the lure underwater. During the cast, power is distributed evenly along the entire blank, eliminating the need for arm strength. The lure practically leaps out, providing a unique casting experience. The rod is tuned with a moderate upper balance point, allowing for fine control of line play to effectively present large lures, S-shaped lures, swimbaits, and large crawlers. At 7'4", the original butt grip is kept slightly short, promoting agility and enabling tight turns and extremely accurate casts. And the diffuser isn't just exceptional with large lures: a hallmark of the Anti series, it works equally well with soft plastics and Texas rigs through cover. GA-75XXHC UNDERTAKER: The development process focused on the use of large lures and swimbaits up to 5oz and involved big-bait enthusiasts from RAID JAPAN as well as experienced anglers from Lake Biwa and other important fishing grounds. The more the rod bends and is flexible, the more it demonstrates its agile power and torque. This allows large lures to be cast long distances, enabling an aggressive style of big-bait fishing. It is equally effective at providing a feel for consistent resistance when retrieving large lures, as well as for subtle resistance during extremely slow retrieves of big baits and swig jigs. With this smooth control, anglers can fully focus on the catch. The rod is designed to minimize angler fatigue during extended casts of large lures. The UNDERTAKER features a special, long grip design that can be positioned against the armpit for control without restricting movement. The original guide placement has also been retained. It's not just a tough and robust blank construction – it flexes precisely according to the load, reducing fatigue and facilitating continuous casting of large lures. Take the UNDERTAKER on your fishing trip for an unparalleled big-bait experience.GA-611MLS-ST STRIDE
