Shimano Aldebaran 30 DC

The "Shimano Aldebaran DC" is equipped with the Magnum Light Spool IV × I-DC5 to revolutionize technical games. By miniaturizing the DC unit, it has been possible to integrate a DC brake into a small spool. The combination of a lightweight, low-inertia spool with low starting force and the precise control of the braking force in 1/1000-second increments by the DC brake enables casting that offers a low trajectory, long casts and high anti-reverse capability, even with light lures. The DC brake is equipped with the new I-DC5, which makes control even more precise. Furthermore, the number of brake settings has been increased to 15, regardless of the line type used, making it easier to find the optimal setting. Thanks to the Magnum Light Spool IV, Silent Tune, and S3D spool, spool vibrations are reduced and energy loss during casting is minimized. This design maximizes spool rotation, further improving casting performance. Essential features like micro-module gearing, X-SHIP, and the HAGANE housing ensure high reliability. With its versatility, this new technical DC model is also suitable for saltwater fishing such as black bass, kurodai (black mackerel), and light bait fishing – a new era of technical DCs has begun. Please note that this is the RH model, with the crank on the right side.
