Shimano Hardbull 8+

A new PE series is now available. Its improved bounce/stiffness prevents line problems, and its abrasion resistance is three times higher than before . A new PE line series in collaboration with PITBULL. Honeywell's Spectra® PE material is used. The eight-strand weave is finished with the MX2 method, which improves abrasion resistance and provides moderate bounce/stiffness. The PE line can be used with both spinning and baitcasting reels without any problems. Different requirements are placed on the fishing line when using artificial lures. The need for strength that won't break even when fighting large fish, for abrasion resistance that allows for safe casting near structures where fish are likely to be found, for trouble-avoidance capabilities, and for optimal casting feel. To meet these high demands, the development of HARDBULL8+ began. Through extensive material testing in the laboratory and numerous test fishing trips in real fishing environments, Shimano has refined the knowledge of its instructors and its technology in this area.
